The Sundarbans

Sundarban, the largest deltaic mangrove forest in the world, consists of a 10,200 sq. km area, Spread over India (4263 sq. km of Reserve Forest) and Bangladesh (5937 sq. km of Reserve Forest). The Sundarbans Forest lies in the vast delta on the Bay of Bengal formed by the super confluence of the Padma, Brahmaputra and Meghna rivers across southern Bangladesh. It became inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1997. The Sundarbans have also been enlisted among the finalists in the New 7 wonders of nature.

Saint Martin Island

St. Martin’s Island, is a small island in the northeast part of the Bay of Bengal, about 9 km south of the tip of the Cox’s Bazar – Teknaf Peninsula. It is the only coral island name of the island is Narikel Jinjira. St. Martin’s Island has become a popular tourist spot to explore ecological marvels.

Cox's Bazar

Cox’s Bazar is a town, a fishing port and district headquarters in Bangladesh. It is known for its wide sandy sea beach. It is located 150 km south of Chattagram. The modern Cox’s Bazar derives its name from Captain Cox (who died in 1799). an officer serving in British India. Cox’s Bazar is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Bangladesh. Foy's Lake

Foy’s lake is the natural beauty of Chattagram, also known as Pahartoli Lake. It’s in Pahartoli, a satellite town of Chattagram. Just eight kilometers from Chattagram, here you can enjoy boating facilities. And it’s a popular picnic spot. Foy’s lake amusement world is a theme park located in the heart of Chattagram, that’s really pretty wonderful.

Mahasthangarh

Mahastangarh is the earliest urban archaeological site so far discovered in Bangladesh. Mahasthangarh, the ancient capital of Pundrabardhan has located 11 km (6.8 mi) north of Bogra on the Bogra – Rangpur highway. Mahastangarh, a glorious chapter of old history opened up before our eyes. It is one of the main attractions in the North Bengal.
